Lindsay Vaughn - Running for Re-Election to the Kansas House of Representatives in District 22

Lindsay Vaughn grew up in Overland Park. She is running for State Representative to make sure it remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Local Leadership

Local policy changes often affect us the most. Lindsay wants to be a leader in the statehouse, so we can continue moving the needle on important issues.

Equality

Kansas has a long and proud history of treating her citizens equally. We need to update our statutes to continue providing these rights to all citizens.

Environment

Kansans have always relied upon the land for our livelihoods and way of life. It is essential that we are good stewards of the earth to protect our environment for future generations and begin to reverse the effects of climate change.

Education

Johnson County is known for its excellent schools, but the impact of chronic underfunding is still unfolding. We need to invest in public education at all levels to enable our students to live robust lives and participate in the global economy.

Opportunity

Brownback’s failed tax experiment devastated the Kansas economy. We need to continue stabilizing the state budget so we can provide food and property tax relief to hardworking Kansans and invest in critical social services for our most vulnerable citizens.
